Privacy policy & legal notice

I am a one-person micro-entreprise, which I run myself. Here, in plain terms, is the data I process, the data I do not collect, and how to exercise your rights.

My commitment

ADC is a one-person micro-entreprise that I run on my own. I take the protection of your data seriously: I collect only what is strictly necessary, I do not sell it, and I share it only with the technical providers the service depends on. This page explains, in concrete terms, what I do, and what I do not do, with your data.

Legal notice

Cookies

The public site sets no tracking cookie and uses no audience measurement tool (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, and so on). I use two technical cookies.

adc_token, strictly necessary, is only created once you sign in to the client or admin area, to keep your session open. It is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, and is never read by JavaScript.

locale stores the language you pick with the switcher, so that the right version of the site is served to you next time. It is set on that click only, never when the page loads, and kept for six months. It is Secure and SameSite=Lax, and set by JavaScript rather than by the server.

The guidelines of the CNIL, the French data protection authority, exempt interface personalisation cookies, including the language choice, from consent when they follow an explicit action on your part: that is the case here, so this cookie does not depend on a banner. As long as you do not sign in and do not touch the language switcher, your browsing stays anonymous.

Data collected

I only collect the data you send me yourself:

  • Contact form: your name, your email address and your message, solely to handle and answer your request.
  • Client account: your email address and a password (stored hashed, never in clear text), to give you access to your preview applications and your downloads.
  • Audit log: sensitive actions (sign-ins, changes) are recorded for security purposes.

I do not carry out any advertising profiling. Your data is never sold or handed over, and is shared only with the technical providers that are strictly necessary (hosting, email delivery).

Local storage (browser)

Some preferences are saved locally in your browser and never leave your device: your light or dark theme choice, and drafts of messages you are writing. None of this data is sent to the server; you can erase it at any time by clearing the site data.

Retention & your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability over your data. To exercise them, write to me through the contact form.

Retention periods: requests sent through the contact form are kept for as long as it takes to handle them; client account data is kept for as long as the client relationship is active, then deleted on request.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

Security

I put technical measures in place to protect your data: an encrypted HTTPS connection across the whole site, authentication by a token stored in an HttpOnly cookie (out of reach of JavaScript), passwords stored hashed, and an audit log of sensitive actions.

Changes

This policy may change. Any change will be published on this page, and the date shown at the top updated.

Accessibility

I do my best to make this site accessible to as many people as possible, following web accessibility good practice. If you run into a difficulty, tell me so that I can improve it.

Contact me

For any question about this policy or about your data, write to me through the contact form.
